Right now, that's how I'm feeling.  Not winning mega-million lottery ticket lucky like that lady in Maryland, but lucky nonetheless.  Why?  Where do I begin.  I'm wavering between a residual high from a nearly perfect weekend with my best friends and what my good friend Corinne likes to call "postpartum lakehouse depression."  Not sure that the term makes a whole lot of sense but it seemed to capture the general sentiment as we packed up and left Chi O Lake Weekend 2012 yesterday afternoon.
This past weekend, 15 of my girlfriends from college and I headed down to South Carolina for some much needed fun in the sun, wine drinking, junk food eating, and some very overdue catching up.  Heck, there was even a candle pass (yay Lucy and John!).  Needless to say, the weekend was pretty close to perfection.  And though it has been three years and a world of growing up since we hung up our chucks, retired our 80's prom outfits, and kissed Babcock goodbye, there are some things that haven't changed.  These girls are still smart and thoughtful and hilariously funny and outrageously inappropriate and I feel so blessed to call them my friends.

Making Joel proud with the letsgetcrazy picture, although this time more fully clothed civilized...

Missing you girls already and counting the days until our next reunion!
